Orcas Island in the Salish Sea in Washington State’s San Juan Islands is a magical place. Picture green pastures, forested mountains, miles of coastline, and quaint villages with unique shops and fantastic food. It is a place you can completely unplug from the daily grind and experience the joys of island life.
It is also a place known for its food and history.

Art, History & Local Legends
The morning tour explores the history, local narratives, and storylines that power Orcas Island. With an emphasis on the tiny communities of Doe Bay and Olga, the tour focuses on artisans, farmers, and visionaries who call the island home. This tour is great for those looking to gain a deeper understanding of the island’s fabric.
The tour starts just after breakfast and finishes by lunch (Sunday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
Fresh, Fermented & Flying High
The afternoon tour focuses on the food and drink culture that has turned Orcas Island into one of the west coast’s premier gastronomical destinations. From eating oysters to sipping local beer, wine and ciders, the tour gives you the inside scoop on how food and drink gets from farm to the table. This tour is great for those who eat and drink with reckless abandon.
The tour starts after lunch and finishes in time for happy hour (Sunday through Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.).
