1 – River Rock Inn
Tucked away on five forested acres in Arlington the River Rock Inn offers guests a getaway with plenty of romantic moments. The cabin-style bed and breakfast feature five Northwest-themed suites. Each spacious room comes with a private bathroom, a large bathroom with a two-person soaker tub, and a private balcony or patio. In the morning, guests enjoy an elegant 3-course gourmet breakfast served in the great room with a double-sided river rock fireplace, or outside on the patio in the sunshine. For couples interested in luxury spa time, they have an on-site spa with a couples spa suite. The spa offers massage, hot stone massage, and facials. For those that want to enjoy the great outdoors, hike the paths along the property and snap a photo kissing inside the stump house. Oh, and I should also mention, the River Rock Inn earned “One of the Top 10 B&Bs in the Northwest” by King 5 and Evening Magazine.

2 – Silver Cloud Inn Mukilteo
Indulge in your passion for kissable moments with water views at the Silver Cloud Inn Mukilteo. Located on the water, and sometimes over it, the 70-room boutique hotel in Mukilteo, is known for its water view rooms and Jacuzzi suites with panoramic views of Possession Sound, colorful sunsets, and ferry views. Well-appointed rooms come with Aveda bath products, and guests receive a complimentary hot breakfast buffet. If you find yourself in need of sustenance during your romantic vacation, Diamond Knot Brewery & Alehouse is a short walk from the hotel. If you are looking for upscale dining with fabulous cocktails and food, I recommend John’s Grill, which is a short walk up the hill or ride in the hotel’s shuttle. Afterward, stroll along the beach at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park for that picture perfect romantic moment at sunset.

3 – La Conner Channel Lodge
Set along the serene Swinomish Chanel, La Conner Channel Lodge is an excellent place for a sexy escape. Steps away from boutique shops and dining in downtown La Conner, the hotel features cozy waterfront rooms and suites with warm down linens, private patios or balconies, and sitting areas warmed by a gas fireplace. All guests receive a complimentary tasting at neighboring Hellam’s Wine Shop, and a complimentary continental breakfast. For couples interested in a spa day, the hotel’s spa is steps away and offers massage treatments, including side-by-side couples massage. On the weekends, lovers of music can enjoy live piano in the lobby and in the warmer months sit fireside with their favorite beverage on the outdoor patio.

5 – Waterfront Inn
Nestled along the peaceful shores of Gig Harbor, you’ll be tempted to never leave your harborside room at the Waterfront Inn. All the guest rooms in this unique seven-room inn have private entrances and their own baths. Guests looking for a romantic getaway will like the three harborside rooms with their own brick patios, gas fireplaces, soaking tub, and endless harbor views. The property also features an over the water patio, which is the perfect place to snuggle and watch the sunset. If your heart’s desire is to get out on the water, take a spin on the Inn’s free kayaks. They don’t offer packages, but the innkeeper is happy to help gather items for special occasions.
If you want to up the ante on your romantic getaway, take your sweetie for a ride in an authentic Venitian gondola with Gig Harbor Gondola. For a romantic dinner, I suggest, JW and Morso. Both are within walking distance of the Inn. For breakfast, the aptly named Devoted Kiss Cafe.

6 – Warm Springs Inn & Winery
No matter the season, Warm Springs Inn & Winery will make lovers fall in love with this charming historic 6-room bed and breakfast on the banks of the Wenatchee River. Located on Love Lane, on 10 acres with nearby fruit trees and hills, it is a slice of heaven 14 minutes from Wenatchee. Each of the B&B’s guests rooms is decorated elegantly and have a theme, such as the English Room, Orchard Room, and Bordeaux Room. There are also extensive living spaces for guest use, including a generous deck and large outdoor lawn with plenty of seating to take in the river view, and a hot tub.
During your stay, enjoy a wine tasting, poured by the winemakers (the owners of the inn) and if you find one you like, purchase a bottle to savor on the patio while holding hands with your sweetie while admiring the Eastern Washington landscape. Let your steamy adventures build up an appetite for breakfast, for a scrumptious three-course meal prepared by a seasoned chef (the owner) with lots of love and locally sourced ingredients awaits.

7 – Alexander’s Castle
Lovers are sure to fall for one of the more unique stays in Washington State – Alexander’s Castle in Port Townsend. Built in 1882 in what is now Fort Worden by Reverend John Alexander for his wife-to-be, it can really be called a “castle built for love.” Sweethearts staying at the castle will have it all to themselves to romp around in the apartment-style castle furnished with a kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathroom with a claw foot tub. In the tower, the bedroom awaits with plush pillows and views of Admiralty Inlet.
Heartthrobs who are suckers for romantic movies can explore scene locations for An Officer and a Gentleman which are steps away from the castle door. My favorite spot in Port Townsend for and internationally-inspired dinner is Fountain Cafe and for Pacific Northwest fare the Silverwater Cafe. Lovers looking for a pleasurable night on the town can catch a movie and dinner at the historic Rose Theater in the Starlight Lounge. For light fare, drinks, and an unusual setting, Taps at the Guardhouse is a short walk from the castle. Then, in the evening, drive or walk down to Point Wilson Lighthouse and kiss under the stars.

8 – Marcus Whitman Hotel
Wine lovers will fall head over heels in love with the ambiance and glamour of the Marcus Whitman Hotel. Part of historic downtown Walla Walla, the hotel was built in 1927 and features 133-room luxury rooms. Those on a romantic escape will prefer the luxurious suites, some of which are in the tower, as well as, the spa suites with a private spa tub. All guest rooms have modern amenities with Gilchrist & Soames bath and body products and in the morning a hot and healthy breakfast.

9 – Friday Harbor House
There is nothing quite like a ferry ride through the stunning San Juan Islands to get you in the mood for romance. That is exactly what happens on your journey to Friday Harbor House in Friday Harbor. After an idyllic cruise through the islands, you arrive at your destination – a small cliffside boutique hotel with fireplaces, oversized jetted tubs, pillow menus, dream kits, and views of the harbor. Lovers of small towns will take a fancy to The Inn at Lynden in the Dutch-themed town of Lynden. Located in the heart of downtown, the boutique hotel is surrounded by buildings with Dutch architecture. The hotel itself is a renovated mercantile building and on its second floor features contemporary, well-appointed rooms with luxury in mind. Those on a romantic escape will particularly like the deluxe king rooms and suites with personal minibars and the corner suite with views of historic downtown. For those who plan to spend most of their kissable moments in the room, they won’t have to wander far to enjoy the sights and foodie delights of Lynden.
Located on the first floor of the Inn are three dining stops that will have you covered for all your meals. Lovers can cheers to their special getaway at Overflow Taps and for breakfast, split a savory breakfast or lunch at Avenue Bread. If you want to venture a little further for dinner and drinks, right down the street is Perfectly Paired in the town’s historic windmill.
